How to show the unrelenting sound and motion of the ocean? This painting was an experiment in simplicity and spontaneity using only one color. I'm happy with the result and painted a companion piece. This 36x36 stands alone beautifully or can be paired with its 36x36 partner (Water Composition 2) for the 36x72 Water Composition Diptych.
